UK team
- Looking through options for SDMX reporting.
- Have interviewed a developer that may start in 2019. But still need confirmation.
- Looking into a Rwanda visit and work remotely with them in December.
- Reviewing cloning of the NRP. Chris is looking through possible amendments.
US team
- No technical updates .
- Will set up a separate call to review any outstanding minor issues before launch. Kali will join in on Brock and Phil's call at 1.
CODE team
- Brock is working on a mapping solution proof-of-concept with Leaflet
- Started a GitHub issue on what to call the new platform, ‘open-SDG’ looks like the prefered name. The next step would be to create an organization called open-SDG.
- Had a short discussion with the students about their work and any feedback on the process.
- Kali asked what kinds of issues they found with the process.
- Eliza responded that she needed context for some of the translations and looked through other websites to see how they were translating common website terms.
Country/subnational interest in cloning the NRP
- Poland - they have forked and adapted the US version. They like the transparent and clear structure of the project. It was very important for Poland to work on an open-source model. They are planning on launching in the beginning of January.
- A more technical follow up will be done with Poland in the future to review the technical development of the platform.
- They wIll have multilingual capacity on the site and will have English and Polish.
- Phil - can we give Michal an update on the US and UK shared library?
- Brock gave an overview of the shared library approach with merging the platforms.
- Germany
- Chris has been working with Germany but he hasn’t heard any updates from them. They did reach out about uploading PDFs and Chris is working on it.
- Is there a roadmap for CODE’s involvement after September? We are trying to think through next steps.
- Caleb - will be helpful for everyone to think about what it would be helpful for CODE to do and to talk about it on an upcoming call.
- Anne- Planning on going to Rwanda
- Brock (and hopefully Phil) - planning on going to Armenia
- Angela - concerns for mobile. We are having some readability issues for some indicators on mobile. Brock recommends starting a GitHub issue about it.
