Task 1 Project Management (milestone)
- Finalized Phase 6a scope
- Team is comfortable with this version
- Added Jeff Newman, the larch author, to the team to help with the estimation work
- @Ben send to Bill now
- Zephyr tutorial now planned for Monday, September 14th from 10:00 - 11:30 Pacific
- @Joe convene group to spec out the tutorial
- Closed PR #323 to fix small min inbound departure times issue since the PR was to master and we're working on develop + it included some fixes already in the develop branch
- Opened PR #325 from RSG develop to ActivitySim develop for recent work. Still working on website docs, but plan to finish soon and then pull for your review
- @Ben invite SEMCOG team (Joel and others) to a future meeting to share the calibration notebook and their experience setting up the model
- @Ben setup doodle poll to look for a meeting time more friendly to Jeff
Task 2 Strategic Planning (milestone)
- Reviewed relevant information from peer projects like matsim, astropy, visioneval
- Making some progress on the strategic development and contribution plan outline here
- Plan to share next week
Task 3 Two Zones (milestone)
- Need to work on documentation
Task 6 Model Developer Tutorial (milestone)
- Ran all tutorials again to make sure everything works with the latest code and made a few updates for the upcoming PR to ActivitySim develop
Task 10 Support for Three Zone Systems and TVPB (milestone)
- The new get TVPB logsum methods in tour mode choice now computes logsums on demand for interaction_sample_simulate, which means it returns expressions like tvpb_logsum_odt['DTW'] + tvpb_logsum_dot['WTD'] in work/school location choice for drive transit logsums
- There is no caching/pre-computing at this time so runtimes are really slow
- Working on getting the calculations and math correct and then will circle back to performance/pre-computing strategy
- Discussed the need for a more complete example test data setup for exercising the functionality
