1.5.4 Pump control via SSR (Solid State Relay)

The unpopulated terminal on the STC can be used as pump control. The firmware will put this output in high impedance to turn pump on and pull it low to turn pump off.
Connect the positive input of the SSR to the pin on the STC (below and to the right of the J2 label - see photo below) and add a pullup resistor (220-470 ohm) to +5v (you can find that on the programming header on the STC). Connect the negative input on the SSR to ground (can also be found on the STC programming header).

You may require a lower than 470ohm resistor if you're not getting enough voltage to switch the SSR.
