1.5.3 Second temperature probe

STC secondary probe modification
The STC-1000 seems to have been designed to have the option to connect a second temperature probe. However, the hardware needed for this is not populated on the PCB. The J2 screw type terminal is just a 2 pole one, this can be replaced with a 3 pole one. Also, the missing R3 resistor needs to be added. That needs to be a 10kOhm, 1% resistor. Once the screw terminal is de-soldered, the resistor can be populated (it is a 0603 form factor SMD type), then solder back a three pole terminal in J2.

Then a secondary probe can be connected between the added pole and the center pole (the center pole will be shared by the two probes).

Programming header
Optionally all the connections needed are available on the programming header. Then, a 'normal' through hole resistor can then be used instead. Connect the resistor between GND and ISCPCLK and the probe between VDD and ICSPCLK.
