x42 and ERC20 (wx42)

The TXBIT exchange team launched an ERC20 wrapped version of our coin on the Ethereum platform, this token is called wx42 and it can be traded on Uniswap.

wx42 contract link can be found here. The contract hash is 0xf49fcdb92c7438b54edb4f1021abe3e3b4b15c92.

The Uniswap listing can be found here.

A few differences between x42 and wx42:

  • Coins and tokens are held at a 1:1 ratio, when one wx42 is converted one x42 leaves circulation, and vice versa. There will never be more wx42 than x42 in circulation.
  • x42 still holds all the functions of the x42 Protocol blockchain, it can stake, be used to host xServers and so on.
  • wx42 can't stake or host any of the x42 functions.
  • x42 can be traded on all the listed exchanges except Uniswap and other dex's for ERC20 tokens.
  • wx42 can be bought directly on Uniswap.
  • If you want to convert your x42 into wx42 or vice versa you will need to go to txbit.

This token of x42 is only meant to be traded on the Ethereum network.

The main use case for wx42 is to enable x42 developers to also expand to the Ethereum network and use the solidity programming language.
