How to install xCore
In this guide you will find the information you need to install xCore.
Warning: Do not run both xCore and the old .19 client on the same computer at the same time, you will get errors. Also make sure your x42Node doesn't stick on your processes when changing from one client to another.
Warning: Do not run both xCore and xServer clients on the same computer.
a. Download the latest xCore version here.
b. Download the appropriate version for your Operational System.
c. [WINDOWS] Open the installer, if you are prompted to run it by your OS' security system click ‘Yes’.
d. Click ‘I Agree’.
e. Change or use the default 'Destination Folder', click ‘Install’.
f. Wait for the installation process to complete.
g. Check if ‘Run xCore’ is selected and click ‘Finish’.
Your xCore will now launch and the installation is complete. You can now enjoy all functions of xCore, including but not limited to: Cold Staking, xServer Setup and the DApp store.
Observation: Syncing your wallet without creating, restoring or copying a wallet is much faster than the alternative.
