SYMKEY_GENERATION_REQUEST_PROCESSED Audit Event

The SYMKEY_GENERATION_REQUEST_PROCESSED
audit event is generated when a request to generate a symmetric key is processed.
Properties:
-
SubjectID
: UID of user requesting the key generation -
Outcome
: success/failure -
GenerationRequestID
: ID of request on KRA request queue -
ClientKeyID
: user provided client key identifier -
KeyID
: ID of the key generated -
FailureReason
: reason for failure (if failed)
Use PKI CLI to generate a symmetric key:
$ pki -n kraadmin kra-key-generate "my_symkey9" --key-algorithm AES --key-size 128 --usages encrypt,decrypt
The server will generate the following events:
