Jisc Knowledge Base+ provides a centrally maintained knowledgebase of e-journal data and Electronic Resource Management (ERM) functionality, offering [libraries] a way to manage your e-resources more efficiently.

  • File transfer: via email, [email protected]
  • Metadata format: KBART file obtained by exporting the Excel Spreadsheet to a tab separated txt file (although they’re prepared to accept the source XLSX as well).

Accepts KBART/OCLC formatted metadata generated by Thoth.

❗ Note: Jisc KB+ is being discontinued as of Feb 16, 2024.

The Knowledge Base+ (KBPlus) service will be retired on 16 February 2024 and title list data will be provided by other Jisc services. We will be permanently retiring the Electronic Resource Management (ERM) part of the service and advise institutions to investigate alternative means of storing documents they are currently holding on KBPlus.
