Organization Repositories Page Beta Feedback

We're excited to announce that the new organization repositories page is in Beta 🥳

Find it under orgs/org-name/repositories or by clicking the Repositories tab in your organization.

It comes with a sidebar and a suggestions engine to help writing your search query.

An ability to filter the list based on member/user who has admin role on any of the repositories, would be great.

Some repos don't show in the All view. I have 2 repos (1 public, 1 archived) and the archived doesnt sshow up in the all view.


When the All is selected, I expect that ALL repos show up

Search ignores special characters like -, so... I can't differentiate between cdk-* and *-cdk. Neither does it support regex. Octoherd it is. :(

Hey. Thanks for your feedback. We do not support regex, however - is a valid character and should work in the search.
Could you provide a more specific example: a combination of repo names and search terms containing - that does not work for you?

On standard view, descriptions and titles are easily distinguishable. Very nice:

However, once you swap to compact view..

Titles and descriptions are both the same color, which makes it a bit hard to distinguish.
For a small UX improvement, I think descriptions shall keep their dimmer color once switched to compact view.

Hello, thanks for your feedback! Could you confirm if other repos (those not shown) are archived?
Since recently we don't include archived repos to All as it was a common community request.

The new appearence of UI in beta phase is nice feature. but at the same time it is occupying a lot of space unnecessarly. 🚀probably you can make it to a collapsible and expandable mode.

In the left sidebar there is tons of whitespace while quite a lot of the description in the repo list is cut off.

If you squeeze the width a liiitle bit more, the whole sidebar turns into a dropdown.

We made some adjustments to the default width and adjusted the point where the sidebar turns into a dropdown so it happens sooner and the description does not squeeze the description so much.

Here is missing use case:

- I need to find an repo with python code 🤔 so I can choose where to add sonar next, but not it become a problem

Also, from current UI it seems like it won't be possible to combine filters - aka what if for some reason I need quickly list public archived repos or something like that

Silly me, did not figured out how powerful new search input is 🔥

I have low zoom in general, but the repositories are too small. More than 60% of it is blank space. Search functionality is very good :)

In the previous version, the distance between elements gave enough information in one point where the eyes were looking. Now it has become "painful" to look at the list, it is impossible to focus in one point because of too many elements in one place.

UPD: Also, it looks very bright on the dark theme, all trying to get in my eyes.
