Adding RIPPLES to the UShER package

Hi,

I want to (need to ;) ) add RIPPLES as a galaxy tool wrapper. It is part of the UShER package.
Problem I'm facing is that currently UShER is only at version 0.2.1 and RIPPLES was only added in version 0.4.0 . Moreover the current version of the package is 0.6.6 .

My question is: I assume that likely I have to update the whole package to at least version 0.4.0 , as using this version number for RIPPLES only is not an accepted approach (for good reasons though) ?
Would it then make sense to immediately update to latest version or is that too big of a leap?
