Meeting Notes

• Today marks our third and final stand-up (18/10/2017).
• Aisha, Vinson, Liam and Haoxuan Yang was present.
• After discussing with Lorna and tutors, we've decided to make a few changes to avoid confusion.
• Instead of having channels that are grouped into a community, we will focus on a community that has events.
• At this stage, we will focus on two communities - The University of Queensland and Brisbane Recreation.
• For example, a UQ community will have university-specific cultural and non-cultural events that users can talk about and socialize in via a chat space.
• We will also:
  • Remove the search bar on the homepage and replace it with a sign in feature.
  • This is so users can pick a persona to log in.
  • Instead of making users input sign-in data, we will implement a drop-down function for users to pick a persona from.
  • Change our persona to be more diverse.
  • Remove the header in the user's personalized channel.
  • Remove 'Insights'.
  • Implement 'Events' feature into communities.
  • Focus more on user interaction with our web app rather than functionalities (as recommended by our tutors).
