How to curl up 2020?

We ran a poll between April 14 and April 17th 2019. This the results.

It was clear that the North American alternatives didn't get at all as much love as the European ones. We also got a whole bunch of write-in.

Event in addition to or next to curl up?

I think this is a strong indication we should stick to doing curl up as a weekend arrangement!

What should we do to make sure you attend curl up 2020?

  • Make an announcement?
  • Continue to be the awesome project you are.
  • You should run it March 28-29, as a part of the community half of foss-north 2020! (yes - I'm partial)
  • announce venue/time soon enough (as usually)
  • It's not you, it's me.
  • live demos, hacking sessions, "free talks", competition to fix the most issues, etc.
  • Reminder email+multiple tweets
  • Make sure I know about it, and that it's near me. (My work isn't great about travel reimbursement.)
  • Waffles? 😁
