The chkit delete command is used to delete an object from Namespace. Types of objects that can be deleted:

  • Deployment
  • Pod
  • Service

Command syntax

To execute chkit delete, you need to specify:

Flag Parameter Description
KIND type of object:  Deployment, Pod, Service
NAME object name

or

Flag Parameter Description
--file or -f FILE JSON file, generated upon object creation

Optional parameters

Flag Parameter Description
--namespace or -n NAMESPACE Namespace. name. Note: the default value for NAMESPACE = default
--help or -h print usage info
--debug or -d print system info on command execution
$ chkit [--debug -d ] delete (KIND NAME | --file -f FILE) [--namespace NAMESPACE][--help | -h]

$ chkit delete deploy myapp

delete... OK
