AuGeo combines augmented reality with GIS. Display feature data upon a live camera view so you can explore your data. Follow these steps to try AuGeo out yourself!
- Launch AuGeo and sign in to your ArcGIS organization or sign in with a public ArcGIS account
- Choose a feature data set to display
- Zoom in to your area of interest on the map, and choose to download data
- Switch to the first person view of the data
- If you have a slide bar on the first person view - scroll to zoom in or out (scroll bar only visible if your device camera has zoom. Shows more or less features)
- Click the Menu (top right hand corner) to alter popups, grid and improve sensor performance
- Optionally scroll side (pitch and roll) and or bottom (compass) sliders to modify the data visible in the first person view. NB: side scrollers are only visible if your device does not have pitch and roll sensors)
- Optionally click on the overview map (circle) to go back to the map view
- Click pop-up once to select
- Click pop-up twice to see full page view of feature information
