In Intellectual Property:

  • Updated the W3C License to the 2023 version.
  • w3c/webcomponents redirects to the WICG repo. Added the proper credit.
  • At least two implementers are interested (and none opposed):
  • Tests are written and can be reviewed and commented upon at:
    • I don't think a WPT is necessary in this case since it's just the IP, but if you need one, lmk!
  • Implementation bugs are filed:
    • Chromium: …
    • Gecko: …
    • WebKit: …
    • Deno (only for timers, structured clone, base64 utils, channel messaging, module resolution, web workers, and web storage): …
    • Node.js (only for timers, structured clone, base64 utils, channel messaging, and module resolution): …
  • Corresponding HTML AAM & ARIA in HTML issues & PRs:
  • MDN issue is filed: …
  • The top of this comment includes a clear commit message to use.

I don't think this is correct. At the time these were incorporated, they used the 2015 license.
