Introductions

• Ivan Puksar, President of Master Athletics Association in Croatia
• Data and statistics enthusiast, collecting data from of all Balkans athletics.
• Collecting databases of records in Excel from different countries (master categories).
• Good to align vocabularies and with the existing Opentrack DBs.

Event Type Taxonomy

• Presented the example using OpenTrack codes
• Participants agreed to start with this first document and creating more examples on top.
• ACTION: Martin to push this table into W3C repository.

Target Audience Taxonomy

• Presenting the Issue #34
• Participants agreed that tagging events with a folksonomy (e.g., Fun run, electronic timing, etc.) will be better than a fixed taxonomy
• Opentrack may implement it.

AthTech 2021

• We will use the CG blog to publish information about the event, taking information from Nicolas' announcement
• We will write the blog post once the big Zadar event is announced (next week?).

AOB

• Topics to include in the agenda of AthTech:

  • Streaming, display, overlay titles, etc.
  • Drone companies (video production, rescue, etc.) will be there, they can be interested.
  • Ethics of technology in athletics (artificial pacer, Nike shoes...)
  • ...

• Other standardization activities for further exploration

  • Categories for disabled athletes
  • Taxonomy for records. Continuing the work done

• Next meeting: 4th May same time (1300 UTC)
