GMTeX Safari Extension

GMTeX is a simple Safari extension that renders LaTeX equations in Gmail. It allows users to read and write mathematical expressions within emails.

Installation

  1. Download the latest release of GMTeX Safari Extension from the releases page.
  2. Click on the downloaded application while holding ⌃ Control.
  3. Select Open.
  4. Select Open again.
  5. Open Gmail and grant permissions to read and edit content when the extension asks you to do so.

Usage

After installing and enabling the extension, you can start using LaTeX within your Gmail emails. Just type your LaTeX expressions between double dollar signs $$...$$, and the extension will automatically render them as mathematical equations when you send or view the email.
