Next.js (React) + Git (Version Control) + Heroku (Deployment)

Commands used

  git add . # add all changes
  git commit -m "insert message here" # Message of what you did in those changes
  git push origin master # Pushing to the branch master on the remote origin
  git checkout -b dev # Creating a new local branch called dev, use -b to create branch
  git merge dev # Merges changes on dev branch into whatever branch you are currently on

  heroku create # create new app to deploy on heroku
