HyAirshed-RPackage

A R package to process back trajectories from the HYSPLIT trajectory model, approximate and plot daily, seasonal, and composite airsheds of cities and other point coordinates, and estimate MODIS FRP, a proxy for fire intensity, within the airsheds.

See the manual for detailed information about the HyAirshed R Package.

See for the following publication for an example of the applications of this R package: Liu T., Marlier M.E., DeFries R.S., Westervelt D.M., Xia K.R., Fiore A.M., Mickley L.J., Cusworth D.H., and Milly G. (2018). Seasonal impact of regional outdoor biomass burning on air pollution in three Indian cities: Delhi, Bengaluru, and Pune. Atmos. Environ., 173, 83-92.
