Hello, I am Jubilee Young.

I have been the masthead for Rust's std::simd project since 2020, a pgrx committer since 2022, and have worked on improving Rust's cross-platform compatibility story, especially shepherding many platforms into being better-maintained.

Sponsorship allows me to use those funds to remove obstacles in the way of me continuing to work on std::simd, pgrx, and Rust! Often that means banal things like electricity bills and the like. In the past it has also included doing things like acquiring hardware examples of some of the SIMD extensions that Rust supports or will want to support, as often software emulation just isn't the same.
