👋 I'm Jan from Germany, a dad of 2 and a Research Software Engineer at the University of Bremen

My dream 🤩

I develop software since I started my Bachelor program back in 2007. During the years I built a lot of tools packages and projects (see below). However, I ever dreamt of bootstrapping a serious SaaS business and I am getting closer to it everyday with @chartonomy.

Open Source work 🔨

I build research software (such as @openqda) and educational software. I love to work with @meteor, producing software, ranging from monoliths (@classroom-interaction-environment) to service oriented and mobile apps (@leaonline).

I also contribute to @node-oauth and @Meteor-Community-Packages and am an active MeteorJS community member and recently "Meteor ambassador" (which is something like a community-evangelist).

I also participate in the weekly Fridays livestream "This week in MeteorJS" on YouTube.

Writing 📔

I regularly publish articles on dev.to about MeteorJS, JavaScript and the likes and they have reached an audience of over 100k readers!
