I'm Waleed, an open-source enthusiast, self-taught developer and managing director of PanX Project in Giza, Egypt. I started learning programming in 2015 watching New Boston videos on Youtube. After one year I decided to quit my job at Dell and start PanX Project.

Each year PanX Project funds and launches projects that aim to have positive social impact like:

• Job Search Engine, (2017 - 2019). A job search engine for job seekers and employers that's free to use. At it's peak the site had 10K registered users and 2K new jobs added everyday from 12 countries.
• HireUps, (2018 - 2020). A hiring meetup that provides all job seekers the space to test, showcase and develop their skills in front of direct employers. HireUps was a hiring hackathons where designers and developers can network with other professionals and find job opportunities.
• FreetheWeb, (2020 - present). This initiative was launched to help business during Covid19. We provide local struggling businesses with a free website and free hosting for as long as they need.
• Awesome Certificates, (2021 - present). A curated list of high quality learning material for coding, computer science and business skills offered completely for free in several languages.

Running and improving these projects takes a lot of time and effort. So if you feel any of these projects are helpful consider funding or contributing. If you have any ideas or suggestions I'd love to hear them.
