🚀 Great Scott! Welcome to the Lab! 🧪⚡

Important

"If my calculations are correct, when this repo hits 88 commits per hour... you're gonna see some serious code." — Probably Doc Brown

Hi, I'm Scott Gigawatt — a dev powered by caffeine, shell scripts, and occasional bursts of cosmic radiation. I write code on macOS, run my homelab like a rogue science experiment on Synology, and containerize everything except my espresso machine (still working on that Dockerfile). Somewhere between a malformed cron job and a possibly radioactive Raspberry Pi cluster, I found enlightenment — or maybe just a recursive log loop. Either way, welcome to the lab.

Warning

Repos may contain traces of sarcasm, outdated dependencies, and unstable neutrino flows. Proceed with curiosity.

🧠 What I'm Cookin' in the Lab

  • 🏠 Running a home lab powered by Synology, Docker, and a concerning amount of power draw ⚡️
  • 🎬 Building a beautiful, automated media empire with Plex, TV, and movie wrangling
  • 🔄 Automating all the things — if it moves, I've probably written a docker-compose.yml to control it 🤖
  • 🌌 Forever obsessed with space, questionable physics, and violently elegant code (✨beautiful code✨)
  • 🧵 Committing chaotic genius, one line of YAML at a time

🧰 Current Stack / Tools of Choice

  • 🐳 Docker & Docker Compose
  • 🧠 Synology + weird cron jobs I forgot I set
  • 📺 Plex, Jellyfin (sometimes), scripts that yell at Radarr and Sonarr
  • 🧑‍💻 TypeScript, Python, Bash, HTML, and the dark arts of config files
  • 🍎 macOS for development, Linux for everything else that matters
  • ⚙️ Ansible, because hand-configuring is for chumps
  • 🚫 Manual config? Only during historical reenactments

🥚 The Easter Egg Protocol

Important

Congratulations, time traveler — you've unlocked Protocol Epsilon. This wasn't meant to be found. Or was it?

Somewhere in the tangled spaghetti of my project repos, hidden deep beneath layers of .env files, cron jobs, and questionable commit messages, you might uncover:

  • A shell script that prints "Temporal calibration successful" and then shuts itself down out of shame.
  • A Docker container named mrfusion running a service that does absolutely nothing but eats CPU like it's 1955.
  • A docker-compose.yml file with a comment referencing RFC-OUTATIME, the long-lost standard for flux synchronization.
  • A git alias that starts playing Huey Lewis when you push to main.
  • A regex pattern so cursed it briefly opened a wormhole to /dev/null.

And then there's this 👇

🧪🕰️ ➕ ⚡ 🔁 ➖ ⌛ ➕ 🛰️ 🔜 ❓

Decode it, and you'll be 1.21 steps closer to the truth.

Or maybe this is all a diversion to keep you from finding the real Easter egg... Happy hunting, chrononaut. 🌀
