RPIRizz Flutter Firebase Dart

RPI Rizz is a dating app ment for the RPI community. It focus on the RPI community and is only available to RPI students. Through this app students can find other students with similar interests and hobbies. Similar to other dating apps, RPI Rizz allows students to swipe left or right on other other profiles, match with other students and message them in real time.

Installation

To install RPI Rizz, you must have the following installed on your computer:

[Flutter] (https://flutter.dev/docs/get-started/install) By following the installation instructions, users will be all set up to run this app.

Important

Because this app uses Google Firebase for authentication and storage, users must email the developers to be added to the project. This is because the app uses a Google Firebase project that is linked to the developers' Google accounts. To be added to the project, please email the developers at [email protected]

Note

Alternatively, users can create their own Google Firebase project and link it to the app. To do this, users must create a Google Firebase project and follow the installation guides for Flutter. For more information on how to do this, please visit the [Google Firebase] (https://firebase.google.com/docs/flutter/setup) website.

Usage

To use RPI Rizz, users must first create an account. This can be done by clicking the "Sign Up" button on the login page. Users will be prompted to enter their RPI email address and password. Once this is done, users will be sent a verification email to their RPI email address. Users must click the link in the email to verify their account. Once this is done, users will be able to log in to the app. On initial login users are prompted to fill out their profile, wrting their name, choosing interests, etc. Once their profile is completed, users will be able to see other users' profiles. Users can swipe left or right on other users' profiles. If two users swipe right on each other's profiles, they will be matched and will be able to message each other.
