  1. IBM Cloud CI uses a custom registry setup on the clusters; so that we are not blocked by frequent changes to the staging or production registry.
  2. Nightly jobs use the Staging registry, so that we can catch errors in the registry before they move to production
  3. Interop tests essentially test odo with future OpenShift releases and so it uses the production registry.
