- Locate Regions (for raster data) Identifies the best regions, or groups of contiguous cells, from an input utility (suitability) raster that satisfies a specified evaluation criterion and that meets identified shape, size, number, and interregional distance constraints. (ArcMap 10.5 or newer) (parameterized region-growing (PRG) technique)
- Grouping analysis(for vector data) Considers spatial constraints (contiguity edge only/edges corners, K nearest neighbors, Delaunay triangulation), initialization (find seed locations, get seeds to form field, and use random seeds) and evaluation (Optimal number of groups using Pseudo F-statistic).
