This project was made during the Annual Hackathon Hack 36 5.O (2022) of our college MNNIT Allahabad, Prayagraj.

An app that lets present Students and the Alumni of the institute to connect, Alumni's can also help students in Jobs/Internships finding , also Students can share their achievements and other professional events with other students of the institute.

• A fully functional WebApplication with multiple features that lets you connect to your College mates and too Alumni of the institute .
  
• A user will be prompted to Either Login or he can SignUp if he is a new User, so that he can create his account.
  
• Only verified accounts can be created through E-Mail Verification on Institute Domain Email only and institute Unique Registration Number.
  
• Posting in News Feed feature is also available , can find Job/ Internships openings so that students of the institute can easily apply.
  
• You can easily Chat to the connections making interaction easy and faster.
  
• Like and Comment on the post feature is also available.
  
• Search anyone with the given Registration Number feature also available

How to run

1. Clone the forked repository.

https://github.com/pritamp17/UniBook

2. Navigate to the project directory.

cd uniBook

3. Install the dependencies.

npm install

3. Install the dependencies present in server.

cd server1

npm install

3. start frontend.

npm run dev

3. cd to server in another terminal and run the server.

cd server1
create .env file and paste your mongo uri here
npm start

and there it is !!
