Thank you for reporting this. Unfortunately, as per our contribution policy (https://github.com/pingidentity/ldapsdk/blob/master/CONTRIBUTING.md), we don't currently accept third-party source code changes, so I can't take your pull request directly. However, I have just committed a set of changes (2981bb5) that should address this problem, along with some other potentially related issues. I've also added unit tests to help ensure that no new uses of these problematic methods get introduced. |

I tried to use UnboundId in an IBM Notes/Domino environment which has a restrictive SecurityManager in place (Java agent in an NSF database).
Had to catch AccessControlExceptions in two classes to make it work.
