The Last Giants - A data-driven safari into the savannah

The project aims to examine the trends in the African savannah elephant populations between 1995 and 2014 and perform predictive analytics.
It also involves the development of....

  • 3D visualization of the elephant ecosystems
  • Interactive plots of the population trends
  • Provide insights on the ivory trade

This project was developed by Visual Virtuosos For INFO 526 - Data Analysis & Visualization at the University of Arizona, taught by Dr. Greg Chism. The team is comprised of the following team members.
