Should we work on this project at all? Should we instead contribute to existing projects?

Nebraska / Iowa specific resources

Great map search. Tons of categories other than Food. Tons of sub-categories of Food: Baby Food, Community Gardens/Gardening, Congregate/Home Delivered Meals, Farmers Markets, Food Co-Ops, Food Pantries/Fresh Food, Food Stamps/SNAP, Food Vouchers, Free Meals, Other Food Programs, WIC

Lots of in-database details per location.

Great map coverage (Lincoln Food Bank covers Lincoln and counties south).

"Distributes food to 600 food pantries, schools, emergency shelters and other nonprofit partners. We are the largest food bank in Nebraska and Iowa, serving 93 counties in the two-state region." YouTube

Most datapoints are lacking in detail, they just say "call this number for details." No schedule info.

Great schedule system built in. No map?

Great map, clicking the icons lists schedule. Full schedule. Lincoln only.
