Relevant LegalXML Work

A series of legal-temporal XML approaches have been developed by various technical committees of the OASIS LegalXML member section:

  • The eContracts Technical Committee, as part of development of the OASIS eContracts Specification explored the relationship between temporal and deontic logic

  • The Legal Rules and Documents committees have also explored temporal aspects of legal rules, as described in "2.3 Time and Events" of this paper on OASIS LegalRuleML. Also, see LegalXML member Guido Governatori's paper on a [model to model to express temporal aspects of legal rules][(http://www.governatori.net/papers/2010/igpl10normchange.pdf)
