There is no ability to file an issue or see an existing one, so it was not visible how to show the icon once hidden.
I eventually found it in the release notes. So I have added the command to the readme, so that others can find it quickly.
Note, I have added the command to also kill the process, since that is required. The icon doesn't show until the process is restarted.
I am not an Apple dev, so I couldn't contribute in code. However, I think hiding the icon is counter intuitive to the use of the application for majority of users. Someone who wants to make use of it, would actually be capable enough to undo it via the terminal. For most people who would be using this app, the hide icon option puts them in a weird spot where they are lost in figuring out how to bring it back, say if they selected it accidentally.
I use your app and I am fine with terminal, so everything works for me. Just added my observation for you to consider for future.
