- People feel that some concurrent PRs are stepping on their feet
- Should we have an implied mutex on the files we're working on?
- @robinbb disagrees as it creates bottlenecks on development that are not worth the occasional delays from rebases
- Are these refactors worth the disruption to other PRs?
- The Dune team at Tarides needs to be more proactive reviewing if we want to keep up with the PRs that are coming in
- There is a general issue on keeping up with changes on
main- This is a separate discussion
- What is our governance?
- There were some previous attempts to come up with something but they were never codified or adopted
- People at the Tarides working on Dune have merge rights, they can merge things if they feel that the code is fine
- If we want to move fast we should feel confident to just merge PRs when we think they're ready
- This sometimes means that we need to take the time to understand the context and the system to learn ourselves whether a solution is a good one
- There were no objections to the proposed new schedule
- @shonfeder will edit the calendar from next week on to be on the new schedule
