MetGenC MVP can create UMM-G/JSON file level metadata and CNM transfer messages and stage them together with science files on a Kinesis stream and S3 bucket where existing Cumulus workflows can pick them up for direct cloud ingest
Restrictions:
MVP works for CF compliant NetCDF files and needs to be extended to all science file types
MVP works for files with a simple bounding rectangle as file level metadata
MVP is delivered as python package
