Release process

The release process is the same for all projects.

Golden rules:

• do NOT release without documenation
• on minor release, do not delete existing features
• read the developer manual (If something is not inside the manual, please as Davide P, Filippo or Giacomo)

When packages have been verified and the documentation is ready:

• the developer writes down release notes and send a notification to internal team chat (optional)
• the newsletter manager writes a non technical summary for customers or community
• the packages should be releases along with the newsletter
• the project manager must review the documentation for customers and community

Note Bugfixes and minor release can be excluded from the above process.
