Hi there 👋

I am Mohnish, senior at University of Minnesota majoring in Computer Science.

Classes I am taking: CSCI 5708 (Database Management Systems & Architecture) + CSCI 5302 (Numerical Algorithm Analysis)

Things I will be working on:

  • Reading papers on Inference & learning more about KV Caching (& quantizations)
  • Potential research at a Distributed Systems Lab (I have applied!)
  • Solving hard problems at CF & LC

Things I worked on last semester:

  • Learned CUDA & MPI; Rewrote Cannon's Algorithm (Naive + Blocked + Pipelined) using MPI and showcased speedups
  • Worked on KV Cache Compression for my CSCI 5541 Final Project
  • Worked on ML Libraries (part of CSCI 5521)
  • Competed in ICPC Regionals

My Previous Work Experiences:

  • Summer Intern at AWS RDS Zero ETL
  • Research Assistant & Back end engineer at Grouplens Research
  • Secretary of UMN Competitive Programming Club (ICPC 23, 24, 25 & MIPS 24)
  • (Current) TA for Computational Linear Algebra & Prev TA for Algorithms at UMN.
