Package information not updating when performing an update

I used the NuGet: Update NuGet Package feature to update my package to the latest version. It seem to update the csproj correctly, but the display in Solution Explorer continues to show the old version number. For users who don't know how to check the csproj, it looks like it didn't do the requested udpates.
