It aligns with Visual Studio 2022's switch to 64-bit and this is what MSBuild since 17 does.

Also, interestingly enough when using v1.0.2 the msbuild-architecture setting cause the following warning when running the step.

Warning: Unexpected input(s) 'msbuild-architecture', valid inputs are ['vswhere-path', 'vs-version']
