It would be good to update in the new docs as well. We're working on officially launching them and archiving these so we don't have to keep updating in two places going forward. |

I think we should to do a sync once we stop updating the old site anyways. |

Oh, I didn't realize the docs were moving! Happy to open the PR there as well if no sync will happen automatically. Is there a set date for moving to the new docs page? |
The new docs are secretly already available, but there's nothing linking to them at the moment. We plan to launch a revamped top page for the website that will point to them soon - no firm date. Everything is almost ready for it, but given holidays for some folks this week, it's likely to be early next week. |

With the release of Micrometer 1.12.0 on Monday, Dynatrace added support for exporting Metrics metadata. This update to the documentation represents the new capability of the Dynatrace exporter v2.
