Listing Android devices and GPS chips that can be found on it.
I'm working on some gps tracking apps on Android, and precision is really a matter of what kind of gps chip you have into your mobile device. This information is pretty tedious to find, so here is what I found so far for the devices I'm using. Feel free to amend this list.
GPS Info Column can be either a standalone gps chip module name, cpu name when embedded module, or wwhatever information we're able to gather.
