Please follow the following instructions if your are running on a Windows machine
- cd backend
- docker-compose build
- docker-compose up
- Run WampServer
- Go to phpMyAdmin
- Log in
- Click on "Import" tab on the landing page
- Select on "databases.sql" file
- Check if the required information has been bootstrapped into the database
- Click User accounts
- Click Add user account and specify the following: User name: (Use text field:) is123 Host name: (Any host) % Password: Change to No Password
- Select Data, this will check SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, FILE
- Click Go and a new user: is213 will be added. This will allow remote access to the database
- Go to localhost:1337
- Log in to Kong using Admin details. If no account, setup Admin account using details provided.
- Click on the "Snapshots" tab
- Click on "Import"
- Select "studyBuddyAPIGateway.json" and import
- Click on "Details" of the newest snapshot
- Click on "Restore"
- Select everything except "Routes"
- Click on "Import Objects"
- Repeat steps 6 to 9 BUT select ONLY "Routes"
- Username: admin
- Email:
- Password: adminadmin
- Sign in using the account created
- Create new connection; using Name: Default and Kong Admin URL: http://kong:8001
Due to the limitation of the API, in order to call the Imgur API, it must be called from 127.0.0.1. This issue will be avoided if we use a domain name.
