MyRepoBot for Discord

MyRepoBot is a Discord bot that lets you get notifications from your GitHub.

⏱ Authorize in less than 1 min; you should be a Repo Owner to set up the integration
🤝 Use the same authorization across all channels on your Discord Server
⚙️ Configure notifications to get only essential ones
⌛️ Set up reminders about PR that is pending review to unblock your team

Manage your Discord integration using simple commands to retrieve updates in repositories and get reminders about pending pull requests.

The bot supports two main commands:

/watch - allows you to subscribe to your repo updates, and manage which type of updates you want to use.
/reminder - allows you to set up scheduled reminders about pull requests/merge requests that are in review for more than N days.

Some restrictions:

  • You can use MyRepoBot if you use the Cloud or Self-hosted version of Github.
  • Self-hosted version can only be connected by adding a webhook to your GitHub repository. You must be a Repository Admin or ask your Admin to do it once.
  • Cloud version can be connected by adding a webhook (same as Self-hosted) or Providing a Token generated for MyRepoBot in your GitHub account. With a token, you can subscribe to all repositories you have Owner rights.
  • To add the bot to Discord Server, you must have Manage Server permission on the server.
