Release version 3.4.1
This is a patch release to Mantid that corrects some significant issues since the last full release.
The main changes are:
- The URIs and packet format changed for ADARA instruments.
- Fixes to the
mantidpythonscript on RHEL6. - Updated instrument geometries for BASIS, CNCS, MANDI, and POWGEN.

Release version 3.4.0
We are proud to introduce a wide variety of improvements in this release including: a collection of improvements to multi dimensional and "normal" plotting, new experimental planning interfaces. We have also bundled Paraview into the installers for Mantid from this release, so there is no need to install Paraview separately, and also the multi dimensional visualization is now available to everyone. The improved "matplotlib-like" python graphing api is now officially released after graduating from the "mantidplot future" namespace, this lives nicely in harmony with the previous commands so existing scripts shopuld continue to work. Finally we have made quite a variety of performance improvements, notably to NXSPE file saving and handling of files containing large numbers of periods.
These are just a few headline points for the changes in this release, so please take a look at the release notes which are filled with important changes and improvements in many areas. The development team has put a great effort into making all of these improvements within Mantid, and we would like to thank all of our beta testers for their time and effort helping us to make this another reliable version of Mantid.

Release version 3.3.0
Some highlights for this release are:
- default bin-width normalization for histogram plots;
- new normalization technique for MD workspaces;
- new interfaces for multi-dataset fitting and event filtering;
- automatic updating of instrument definitions;
- usage (version & OS) reporting. We do take your privacy seriously and all of this will be anonymous and is not possible to refer back to specific people or machines, experimental data or results will never be recorded.

Release version 3.2.1
This is a patch release to correct some significant issues since the last full release.
There are instrument definition updates for CNCS & TOPAZ and a critical bugfix to LoadISISNexus to correct a problem with assigning spectrum numbers to the correct detectors when loading a partial file. In addition there have been a few more minor bug fixes.

Release version 3.2.0
This release sees the inclusion some of the requests raised by the Scientific Steering Committee back in January.
Major improvements to the documentation have been made in this release with a cleaner and more accessible website, better offline help, and improvements to the algorithm and fit function descriptions. On the code side we have also made a real step to making our workflow algorithms much less of a "black box", you can now unroll the history of any workflow algorithm to see the steps it performed, and script these out in case you want to make changes.

Release version 3.1.1
This is a patch release to correct some significant issues since the last full release.
There are instrument definition updates to three instruments and updates to the ISIS SANS and reflectometry interfaces, in addition to a few bug fixes.

Release version 3.1
The release over Christmas is always a smaller release due to the holidays and this was compounded this time with several runs of the training courses as well as the Scientific Steering Committee and developer workshop meetings.
However that did not stop us adding lots of important improvements throughout Mantid, particularly for plotting, reflectometry, and the addition of support for Integration reports for single crystal diffraction data.
Mac Users Please Note: From this release Mantid requires OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion" or above. If for some reason you cannot update you may continue to use Mantid v3.0.

Release version 3.0
This major release marks the end of version 1 of the Python API and the beginning of version 2, which has allowed us to implement some nice new features. For example the IPython interpreter is now integrated into Mantid across all platforms as the default script interpreter. This comes along with many other improvements both generally within the framework and for specific techniques.
Mac Users Please Note: This will be the final release that supports OS X 10.6 "Snow Leopard" or 10.7 "Lion"; from release 3.1 Mantid will require OS X 10.8 "Mountain Lion" or above.

Release 2.6.1
This is a patch release to correct some significant issues since the last full release. The issues with crashing/hanging during a reduction on many instruments in MantidPlot have been fixed. There have been instrument updates for POWGEN & CNCS and a set of other smaller fixes.
