The Latest 3rd edition (2013) is very much more detailed than the First Edition and it contains nearly 300 pages of more Amazing knowledge than the edition which is currently uploaded on this repository. The latest edition has many more examples and updated algorithms which are essential for competitive programming.
It will be beneficial for Everybody who is coming to checkout this repository to get the latest edition and will keep it updated.

I see that the book has a 4th edition.

Can you

  • update the repo with the 4th edition, and
  • remove the reference to the download link to the 3rd edition (doesn't look official)?

Review on suggested changes

  • 4th edition of the book was released on 19th July, 2020, it is still not available for free on the internet in any format.
  • OK! I will remove the reference to the download link to the 3rd edition.

The concern is: This is a paid book, so technically if anyone uploads a pdf, that would be pirating.

Please let me know if this is not true otherwise.

reference to the "latest 3rd Edition" is removed.

That is the reason we cannot upload the latest fourth edition but there are already many websites which are providing the third edition of the book. Uploading pdf link of an older version on this repository will be no harm.

Unless you have a legal backing on the distribution on the 3rd edition, I cannot take the PR.

Btw, I also just purchased the 4th edition of the books, and they look great.
