3D Reconstruction with Fringe Pattern

3D Reconstruction Project via Fringe Pattern Projection conducted in a Research Paper Course, Yonsei University (MATLAB R2023b)

Fringe projection profilometry has been thoroughly investigated in the field of 3D reconstruction. To increase the accuracy of fringe projection profilometry using lots of phase shifted, short period, single fringe pattern is recommended. However I tried to reconstruct an object with only seven pictures.

Setup

The FLIR Grasshopper3 USB3 camera was used with a Computer M1214-MP2 lens, and the Texas Instrument LightCrafter 4500 was utilized as the projector. To capture a large number of photos, I utilize a synchronization circuit to coordinate the camera and projector, forming a trigger system. This enables a swift and straightforward process for capturing photos after changing the pattern.
