I would like to have some guidedance on how to use JPlag with vue.js - should we use "text" - or should we use TypeScript

You may use the TypeScript language module for a structural comparison (recommended) or the Text module for a purely text-based comparison.

We do not directly support vue. The problem here is that only parts of the file can be handled by our typescript parser (the script part) and other parts (template, style) would require other parsers. Thus using the typescript parser is unlikely to work, except if the ANTLR grammar just ignores what it does not know.

This issue is similar to the one when parsing jupyter notebooks #685
