I'm a professional software engineer with an academic background in computer science.
I started out working with Java and JavaScript/TypeScript before eventually finding my way to Rust 🦀.
I enjoy building high-quality software that is robust, correct, fast, flexible, secure, and scalable.
I'm the creator of TangleGuard — a static code analysis tool for software architects and engineers which helps them to understand and maintain their code structure (the application level architecture). I also host a directory of open source architectures where you can explore the internal structure of various projects.
In the past, I worked on in a varirity of architectures, including microservices, event-driven architectures, and modular monoliths, but usually in distributed environments and large enterprise applications.
A notable side project was Eventpool from 2022. It's hard to belive in times of agentic coding but it was manually written.
