Welcome to the Linum Wiki! This is your first point of contact if you are new to the team and have questions on how we do things here. But this wiki can also be very helpful if you are a more seasoned dev with specific workflow questions.
On the right hand side, you can find questions and topics for which one from our team has already provided information on. You can also use the search function to make it easier to find exactly what you need.
This page is continuously expanding, so if you feel that something has not been covered yet, feel free to either add it yourself or get in touch with @NightmindOfficial for clarification.
As a complete beginner, I would recommend working your way through the entire wiki. But if you are in a hurry, these would be my top picks:
First, follow this tutorial to setup flutter on your machine.
Set up your Firebase Options - Before you can do anything that involves fetching data from our cloud storage, you will have to set up the authentication to our development cloud environment on Firebase.
Get your .env file - If you want to code with us, you will need to get our not-so-dirty little secrets on your local machine.
Naming Conventions - Helps you understand how classes and files are named, and how you should name your own stuff.
Navigation System - Helps you understand how the app employs Router and Delegates to navigate through different screens.
So you are not a part of our dev team yet, but love the project and would like to offer us a hand? Wonderful!
Linum is an app development project by a German non-profit initiative called "Invest it!", a collective of young people aiming to improve the accessibility to free, unbiased and high-quality financial education for the youth.
