USAGE: label2cue <label_file>.txt [[TARGET_WAVE_FILE] [INITIAL_TRACK_NUMBER(default=1)]] [ > output.cue ] This is a simple ruby script I created to convert track label exports from the opensource Audacity audio editor (http://audacity.sourceforge.net/) to .CUE sheets (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cue_sheet_%28computing%29) in order to burn a single .wav file directly to a multitrack CD. I had some recorded speeches which I had been tidying up in Audacity and already had the labels in place and exported, so I simplified the process of converting from seconds into MM:SS:CD_FRAMES and filling in the track names so I could easily burn to CD in one step. In the examples/ folder are an example input label file and corresponding output .CUE. To generate the output .CUE file: ruby label2cue.rb examples/input_example_audacity_labels.txt someaudiofile.wav > examples/output_example.cue The label files I used were generated using Audacity 1.3.12 beta The source for label2cue lives on GitHub at https://github.com/hornc/Label-to-Cue Please feel free to message me (hornc) there if you have any suggestions for improvements.
