I don't understand what's going on here. HQL doesn't have a documented epoch() function.

  • is this a new feature? If so it needs to be added to the documentation.
  • or is this actually about extract(epoch from ...), which is documented. If so, the test is wrong.

You can use extract units as abbreviations for extract(unit from ...). Merging.
